Twelve-time Grammy Award winner ALICIA KEYS will bring THE FREEDOM TOUR to the AmericanAirlines Arena on Saturday, March 27th at 8 p.m. in support of her fourth studio album, with special guest Anthony Hamilton.

Keys describes THE ELEMENT OF FREEDOM as a dichotomy of strength and vulnerability: “The music is really strong, and the drums are really aggressive, but my voice is vulnerable and delicate,” states Keys. Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced that rock superstar Eric Clapton, with special guest Roger Daltrey, will visit the BankAtlantic Center for an exclusive South Florida show on Thursday, March 11, 2010.


This tour comes on the heels of two major U.S. Grammy nominations for his CD release with Steve Winwood last year. In recent years, Clapton has done some of his most innovative and collaborative work, pairing with iconic artists such as Steve Winwood, Jeff Beck and JJ Cale for concert and CD projects. Recent concert set lists have seen a variety of Clapton music featuring some of his biggest solo hits alongside classic Derek and The Dominos and Blind Faith songs. The band will consist of Steve Gadd on drums, Willie Weeks on bass, Chris Stainton and Walt Richmond on keyboards, and Michelle John and Sharon White as backing vocalists.
